Not about trees and fairies, A Midsummer Night’s Dream is a complex play about love, in all its different shades of meaning. 
Love expresses itself in free and theatrical ways by the endless changing of forms, gears and levels. The three groups — the Lovers, the Mechanicals, and the Immortals — each arrive at a point of crisis which precipitates into a state of chaos in the woods at night. Order is restored only after each character has undergone some transformation in which lessons have been learned. This is Shakespeare at his most lyrical, in his most perfectly structured play.

Performed outdoors at Feast & Field (original Clark Farm location): 1544 Royalton TPK, in Barnard, VT.   

Come early, bring a picnic and enjoy the farm.  Non-alcoholic drinks and snacks will be available for purchase.  BYOB.

Seating will be on a partially-shaded, grassy lawn.  We have some chairs, but camp chairs and blankets are welcome. Due to F&F location across the street this year, no picnic tables are on-site.

Performances will be canceled due to bad weather.  In case of cancellation, tickets will be good at any other performance.
